Josue Rios is a firefighter for the City of Houston and has worked on the front lines since the beginning of Covid-19 as a first responder. He has seen many cases and understands the severity of the pandemic.
The Captain of the Houston Fire Department, whom Josue knew very well, died from Covid-19 and that hit really close to home, not just for Josue, but for all his fellow firefighters.
Josue has a daughter who just started kindergarten and a son who is three years old. His wife currently oversees the daughter’s online education, while working from the family trucking business. Josue’s only hope for 2021 is that his family stays healthy.
