Henry Ney is a math and science teacher at a middle school in Pasco, Washington. The pandemic greatly impacted the educational system and hopes he never has to go back to teaching remotely ever again. Teaching remotely was a great identity loss for himself, as well as his students. Social interaction is so important for all human beings and Henry is so glad to be back in the classroom where he can see the children’s smiles.
While enduring the pandemic as a teacher was tough, he feels it made him a stronger teacher. He had to learn to be creative and think outside-the-box to encourage the children to keep learning.
Henry closed on his home in new home in 2019 before the pandemic began. His experience working with Envoy Mortgage was awesome because all of his questions were answered and by the end he felt like a mortgage expert on the day of his closing!
